No real reason given in the video why Homeland Security was involved, but apparently deplorable conditions were found...

Odd story...

Feds raid school in GeorgiaPosted: Mar 26, 2015 9:34 PM EDTUpdated: Mar 26, 2015 9:38 PM EDT

Officials have made new developments in the investigation surrounding a Lake Wales High School basketball coach who resigned following recruiting violations.

School officials said coach Randy Lee helped bring four international students here from Faith Baptist Christian Academy North, a school based in Ludowici, GA that has since shut down.

Wednesday, agents from Homeland Security conducted a federal search of the school, and the Division of Family and Children Services removed more than 30 teens from the church, saying there is an investigation into their living conditions there.

They've been set up with Red Cross mass casualty temporary housing.

Locally, the Lake Wales students said the Faith Baptist Christian Academy is where they were issued their F-1 visas to attend school in the U.S., however, they said when they got to the states, they were taken to the North campus.

That campus was run by a man named George Flint, according to the boys. Flint has not returned our requests for an interview.

Wednesday, investigators were also at the foster home where the Lake Wales students are staying.

Three of the teens are from Cameroon and one is from Serbia.

The teens came to America on what they thought was a full scholarship to play basketball and attend high school. In an exclusive interview with FOX 13's Hetal Gandhi, they described their living conditions while they were in Georgia.

I was wondering why all of these African names were suddenly showing up on the football recruiting boards. How much money do you suppose is changing hands to bring dozens of foreign athletes into the country, just so the one or two who pan out can be steered to some university to play football or basketball? I'd also be willing to bet that some of their qualifications for student visas are highly suspect, not to mention their transcripts.

I've been skeptical of most HS athletic programs whom operate under the guise of the church. It's a really shady kinship in most cases.

I thought the creepily named Dept. of Homeland Security was created to protect us from all of the boogie men living in caves around the world that are supposedly out to get us........

So, what is DHS doing raiding schools in Georgia?
