I will soon be starting a new job that is 7 days on 7 days off, I am young and single so I plan on going on several vacations a year. Most of them I will be alone, I will usually fly so distance isn't really that big of an issue. I do want to try to stay in the US and Canada at first but I'm trying to make a list and try to complete the list eventually. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I hear Nuevo Laredo is great this time of year...

But what part of the country are you thinking about?

4 or 5 days in Vegas? Talk about a shitty vacation. There's nothing relaxing about Vegas. It's constant over-stimulation, over-spending, and tacky marketing/lights with fake plastic people in the grasp of desperation and shattered dreams.

I like to hit Puerto Rico when its winter here. Its not a lot of peoples destination of choice but its relatively cheap. A pool with a swim up bar is pretty awesome in Jan/Feb. If you don't need constant entertainment and just wanna chill then give it a shot.

Anyway, I'll input. As a single guy, Costa Rica would be a blast. There's a shite ton of extreme outdoors activities you could do, hit up the casinos complete with girls everywhere (prostitution is perfectly legal), and it's beautiful and cheap.

Just got back from San Antonio, was pretty cool. Going to Top Golf alone was worth it, granted its pricey if solo, 40$/h for a booth plus they have a bar on each floor. (3 Stories)

If he is in Vancouver, he's damn near here already. S.E. Ak makes for a great short vacation.

Puerto Rico, if you really don't mind flying.
