I had the flu AND food poisoining at the same time. Kicked my arse for a week and a half or so.
My roommate in college had Mengetits, sp, his senior year in HS and he was bed ridden for a month. So it could always be worse.

About the same as you during high school. There was some stomach bug going around. I'd be on the toilet shitting, then have to lean over into the tub to puke. It lasted a good 36 hours and I'd get sick every 30-45 minutes.

Dude Food poisoning is the worst. I got it on a Delta flight back from Argentina a few years ago. catering in Buenos Aires was on strike so dumbass delta served chicken left from the southbound flight to the northbound passengers.
About 3 hours from ATL, I started feeling bad. By the time the plane landed in Atlanta, I literally ran from customs to a toilet having to make a decision on which end was going to get sick first. Wound up hurling then shitting liquid for an hour.
THe worst part was we were going directly from Atl to Athens to see UGA play Arkansas. Daughter was in the UGA Redcoat band and this was first chance to see her.
I insisted we go, and had to stop like 4 times on the way up to shite then got sick at the stadium. Thank GOD my cousin had seats under the overhang so I wasnt in direct sunlight. We left immediately after half time. it took me three full days to feel even somewhat normal. That shite is the worst ever.

Meningitis. Three days in hosipital lost 25 pounds and thought I was going to die at 17 years old.

Ulcerative colitis. I lost about 50 pounds within a two month stretch because everything I ate went straight through me. And it felt like razor blades.

You have my sympathy. I have a very mild form of colitis, last "episode" in 2010, but I can appreciate how terrible this must've been for you. May your future experiences with this unpleasant condition be very, very few and very far between.

Make sure you keep up with that. I had a friend with UC who got colon cancer at 35.

Buy some weed, unless you get drug tested at work. There's nothing on the market that cures nausea better than marijuana. And the side effects aren't bad either, imo.
And worst I've had was pneumonia. That really sucked bad.

Rheumatic Fever. Fever itself lasted around a week. The problems it brought along with it took most of 2014 to go away. Don't feck around with Strep Throat. Go to the Dr. and get on the antibiotic.

I do. The last three scopes I've had done show it's "gone". It came up after two bouts of strong antibiotics I was put on after having wisdom teeth cut out and they damaged a molar in the process. I'm really careful about taking a probiotic regularly, especially if I have to take an antibiotic for anything.

Food poisoning a couple of times. I'm prone to pilonidal cysts, those suck when they flare up. Otherwise I'm a model of health.

Once got sick so bad that I had to be sent to the ER to get fluids into my system cause I was dehydrated from throwing up so much. Was so weak that I couldn't walk on my own and had to be escorted by a wheel chair. Worst pain of my life.
