For those Auburn fans even slightly concerned about Bruce, Hart just squashed it in a round about way:

Reporter: Given what you know, would you consider someone with a similar background [Tyndall's past at Moorehead]

Hart: **bluntly* No

None of these names, Marshall included jack me up. I'd rather have am asst at a P5 school than another coach from a basketball only mid-major who's biggest game of the year is College of Charleston. Shaka Smart said the best thing about being at VCU is they don't have football.

I'd go to Duke, UK, Michigan State, Notre Lame or somewhere and get the top asst. Brey seems to be doing fine at ND as an example. I just think a P5 job has dynamics that you won't find at a Wichita State or Butler. We might get Marshall but I doubt he will be much more successful than Grant was.

Even tho he just signed as HC of the Charlotte 49ers, I'd give Mark Price a call. As some have said a high profile guy might be reluctant to jump in. Price has a hella pedigree & is a up & comer... Just a thought.

There is no realistic shot in Pearl. You guys would have to pay something like 7 million to hire him, and that is before his salary. No SEC school outside of UK would do that for a BB coach.

They don't come close and Hart is not a spender. I'm glad he left when he did and didn't take over for Mal Moore.

I like Rick Byrd. UT player would stay until retirement. Great stabilty, great motivator and great X and O coach.

The frick?

... because y'all are running out of options and/or coaches who would be willing to risk taking the job at UT given y'all's history.

Whereas that woman would do anything for UT ... but it was meant in a patronizing way towards you fricks.

Yet you failed to recognize the other two I named ... da frick?

Both make a ton of sense ... da frick!

Either would be a great hire ... duh frick.

ETA: Get over yourself. I just realized that rather than wishing the best for UT I should be, like most others in the conference, reveling in yet another major Vol hiring frick-up. It's gone from the ridiculous to the sublime. lulz

But you know I'm right. I'm just trying to help y'all so that y'all will not drag-down the East in basketball in coming years. WTF is it gonna take for y'all to get your act together?
