All this Kentucky NBA talk reminds me of the 2012 football offseason

Anyone remember all that talk of "if Bama could beat the Raiders/Jaguars" from offseason to mid season 2012?
I realize (or hope) a lot of these threads are joking, but the worst team in the NBA would make this Kentucky team look 100x worse than WVU from tonight. But yeah....good luck to the wildcats. I guess.

Never pass on an opportunity to make things about Alabama. Roll Tide. Only 5 more months until football season. I know ya'll are attention starved in the irrelevant months.

Yeah... That isn't true. Football is so different because the better team wins more often and the physicality is so different at the pro level. Basketball is so based on who is playing well at the time. 75% of UK's players will be drafted and at least 4 will be first round picks. That's 80% of the starters. Completely different from the NFL.

All that being said, I do believe the NBA team would win the majority of the time. The Sixers at the end of last year, or very beginning of this year is a different story though. I really do think UK is better than that team was.

While I agree that it's totally different from the NFL, the NBA players are so much better than college players it isn't even funny.
As talented as Kentucky is this year, they would get beat by 40 by most NBA teams. Maybe only by 20 against the 76ers or Knicks.
