Who's going to the G-Day game in a couple weeks?

We need to start planning our GSB Live event coverage, delegating assignments, brain-storming, etc.......

Triple Brass, Do you copy? Over.

Does anyone know why UGA seems to always have the spring game on Masters Saturday? Do they not want people to go?

It really is odd. I understand that sometimes it's going to happen and it's not the end of the world, but surely we could have scheduled it to where this happened at least LESS often.

It seems like 8 of the last 10 G-Days have been during the Masters

No thanks. Maybe, he can represent the Help Board instead.....

Christopher, I'll buy your G-day ticket if you agree to broadcast Live, from G-day for us. Try to get pics of Coach Schott doing the "Squattin'-heimer". Thanks in advance........

Do the Redcoats play at the G-day game?

I'm pretty sure they do...

Maybe, we can get Triple Brass to do one last "Sousa-Vision" encore.

I'll leave it up to you two to arrange the tickets then....

Also, see if you can pull some strings and arrange it to where Christopher gets to pick any seat in the house for his broadcast.

Just to sweeten the deal, I'll also throw in considerations for Chris to enter the stadium pregame to watch the lettermen flag football scrimmage. Should recognize a lot of the guys from all those games Tech lost over the years. You know, nostalgia and shite.

I'll be there. And they do.

G-Day actually serves many purposes for the band. It is the final round of auditions for Drum Majors for the following season. It is the closest thing we have to simulating a live game in Sanford before the season starts. They will rotate throughout the game and the results are usually made public within a week. This year, of the 6 finalists, 2 are Sousaphone players (4 total will make it to Drum Major) - so Go Dawgs.

Until the roster is made, I still get all the emails so I know the schedule for this game, though I won't be participating in it. G Day is actually "required" for any returning Redcoat - so it's about 3/4 of the normal band (it lacks the graduating class from the previous season).

The more you know...

I will be in attendance at G-Day. Looking forward to finding out which of our QB's are competitors.

Skipjack, Thank you for signing up....and Welcome aboard.

We look forward to your LIve G-day observations on the QB topic. And also to pics of the women in your group "Squattin-heimering" in front of landmarks in and around Sanford stadium...
