Just more proof the DEA is filled with scumbags who aren't doing their job. Instead of trying to stay these evil bastards, they're getting hookers paid for by them. That agency needs to be disbanded, and a healthcare approach should be taken towards drug addiction.

Edit: I'd normally delete a double post, but that one is worth saying twice.

Looks like this comment hit a little too close to home for RG.

I prefer marijuana over alcohol. That's where my ties end. I've seen way more problems caused by the prohibition than the drug itself. I've also seen what legalized marijuana does for a city, and how much better it is for a cities economy than continuing prohibition. Colorado does a great job of regulating it. And as prices keep dropping, it will kill the black market.

But your average drug bust is users and low level dealers. The drug war has caused huge social problems in places like New Orleans, Chicago, Miami, etc.

And I won't even go into the prison industrial complex, except to ask... Americans are the most evil people in the world? We have 25% of the world's prison population. Why? The drug war, which the DEA is on the frontlines.

I used to think cops went after the low level types because they were lazy, and it's easier to collect the low lying fruit. But apparently not. Apparently it's the hooker parties. The fact that y'all DEA boys were getting hookers from the people you should be spending your resources going after. It's truly despicable.

I'm laughing so hard I just broke a rib.

Five guesses where the low level guys get it from.

I just need one. The guys paying for the hookers. But I'm guessing in this story, y'all were working with one cartel to bring down another. Which is pathetic considering they all need to be taken down.

So what made you laugh? The part about the busts or the social problems created by the drug war?

Yeah they go after a lot of low level people, but trust me their end goal is much higher. They hit roadblocks at middle management because that's where people shut up and quit giving them info to go higher up. When they do get enough to actually take down a high level dealer it's because someone fricked up bad or the Feds got lucky.

Yet we keep attempting the same tactics. What was it that Einstein said about the definition of insanity?
