West Virginia talking a lot of smack today

The WVU point guard Miles was quoted as saying "Kentucky doesn't play hard" and that "after tomorrow they will be 36-1." Given that Kentucky is a 14 point favorite, is it smart to give the Cats so much bulletin board material for tomorrow's Sweet Sixteen game? LINK

No. If you think that, don't say it. Stay quiet, and hope you can take advantage of it.

Auburn had KY on the ropes twice this year, but I don't think WV has what it takes to do the same against KY

Freshman doesn't know what he just opened up.

Should have just said Kentucky is a bunch of cheating cheaters who cheat.

I've been wondering this all day. Is there some weird, Appalachian rivalry between you two?

If it takes a quote from a guy to get UK "up" for this game, he's right they're going to be 36-1.
We complain about guys not being opinionated but as soon as he speaks his opinion we jump all over him.
This quote will not matter in one bit to the outcome.

Yeah, nobody wants to lose to those hillbillies. Also, Bob Huggins virtually invented thug basketball and is a pro at implementing it in his system

I think it will backfire. Would probably talk quietly to my teammates about the ability to slay the giant, and not give them incentive to be ready to play against an opponent.

Well to be fair there's speaking your opinion and dropping these:
quote:
"They should be more intimidated, because they're the ones that got the high standard and we're coming for them."
quote:
"No one's invincible. Their time's gonna come. We're going to pull it out."
quote:
“I give them them their props. Salute them to getting to 36-0. But tomorrow they’re gonna be 36-1.”
But like WCS said, it just adds a little more incentive to the situation. Makes it a little more personal. They would've been up for this game either way, anyone who thinks otherwise isn't much for thinking.

So you play for UNC ah? Why does your lack of punctuation or sentence structure not surprise me knowing that?

You really need to lurk a little while longer.

Why don't you make a video and say that to me?
