I didn't click the link, but I doubt he cares. 99 percent of the kids Alabama and Auburn want stay in state. Doubt MIchigan will change that

The Harbaugh name alone worked wonders for Michigan this year. #14 class, in the Big Ten.

I can remember a guy from my high school named Max Martin who went and played running back at michigan in the 2000s.. Stayed on the team maybe a year and got kicked off.

Guess there is always the fear of an Abdullah type player leaving the state but those types are probably just underrecruited by instate schools.

Why? Alabama has always gotten the majority of what it wants in-state.

Jameis Winston
Ameer Abdullah
De'Runnya Wilson
Chris Casher
Justin Shanks
Austin Golson
Dee Finley
Marquez White
Jordan Sims
Kwon Alexander
Justin Thomas
Beniquez Brown
Darius Philon
Trae Elston
Solomon Patten
Ben Jones
Phelon Jones
Sidell Corley Jr
London Crawford
etc...

Auburn and Alabama have lost a lot of in-state talent over the years. Not all worked out in the end, but there has been a lot of highly touted talent leave for whatever reason.

Justin Thomas was just set on being a QB. Bama wanted him as WR.

A) Only four of those players had impactful roles on their respective teams

B) three of those players ended up playing at Alabama or Auburn

He can get some good golfing in. Hope he enjoys the state.

Just trying to get a feel for Alabama since he'll be replacing Saban whenever he retires.

Look at the list again... I'll bold players that ended up being very good, starters, etc.

There were some good players on that list, and I didn't even try to list all that left the state.
