Not that it's a perfect rating but apparently he's the 4th overall assistant coach in the Big12 and 33rd nationally. According to 247. LINK

Hicks

I think he made a very unwise decision to decommit. He's going to end up being replaced by a much better talent.

Howland made multiple references about getting the best talent in our state and next year that will be Hicks and Kegler assuming he moves back

From what I've heard Hicks is far from elite. Just because he said that doesn't mean he's going to take a three star from Mississippi instead of a four star from Atlanta.

Dang. Did not get Pierre. Don't think a director of operations has been named.

Take this for what its worth, but saw it posted on 24/7 that Malik started following Ray Kasongo. Obviously a long shot, but the addition of those two with Howland coaching and we could go from cellar dwellers to competing for the West.

Outside of Arkansas, what team would have a lineup clearly better than
IJ
Malik
Sword
Kasongo
Ware

CBB is different than most sports as the turn around can be very fast with a few additions.

Basketball does not have east/west divisions. Can't win a west title in basketball no mo.

Y'all saw where we offered a SF last night for this class? The numbers are getting pretty crowded. Looks like there may be significant attrition because several interviews have already pointed towards Howland keeping most of the current signees.

Dikembe Dixson

He is the older cousin of what some consider to be an elite prospect for next year.

Dunlap is pretty much a zero so if we can replace him with even a decent player that will be a nice upgrade.

Alot of stuff added to the OP.

Staff is likely complete. The entire staff is going to visit Malik Newman tonight at his home, per Paul Jones.

I added the 13 scholarship positions and who currently fills them. At this point with three signees, along with going after Newman, Kasongo, and Dixson, there will either have to be attrition or a couple signees let go from their NOI.

There's really no way to know what he is. He hardly played at all this year and will be a redshirt freshman next year.

Things looking good with Dixson and Kasongo.

Joseph Strugg will most likely end up at State. Can't burn that bridge with Carver HS.

Wait and see on Tookie.

And no need to mention names but should MSU add more signees to this class, obviously there would have to be some attrition.

With the 2016 class, you will start to see high-profile kids like Kobi Simmons (plays AAU ball with Atlanta Celtics) be offered by MSU and the Bulldogs will be in the mix with guys of that caliber. I also believe MSU can get former commit D'Marcus Simonds back should they choose to do so but I do not see MSU making an effort to get former commit Darius Hicks back in the boat.

Just a few notes from today.

Seems odd that he would offer Dixson...but I guess he saw something he liked. Or had someone he trusts tell him about him.

Yeah someone had to have had a previous connection.

Who do y'all think the attrition candidates are? Has to be at least 2.
