Why is Latin the chosen language of demonic entities?

Roman Empire spoke Latin. That's where Jesus lived. After he died they started this thing called the Roman Catholic Church.

Surely you've heard of this

The papists and demons both speak Latin because they share a boss.

Demons often use Latin due to the Catholic Church, but they also sometimes use Aramaic (language popular in biblical Judea), Hebrew, and ancient Sumerian.

Thank you.

I lived in Italy for a few years. Still go back two or three times a year because my wife works for an Italian company although they may be about to be sold to the Japanese ... which I am hating the thought of.

But anyways, real demons usually speak their ancient native tongue or several languages.

My first wife, a demon in her own right, spoke fluent bitchinese.

The real question is, in ancient culture, legend and mythology, why are there not more well-known female demons?

Because, as you have discovered, they live among us, and some of us were married to one at one time, or still are.

Well, it's a dead language, so there's that.

I've battled many demons and most have spoken either Latin or Hebrew.

Lilith is a common female demon in monotheistic societies. The Succubus is a female demon common in many cultures like the near east, pagan europe, and Beverly Hills.

Last time I talked to Satan though he said ebonics was really starting to take hold down there until he had a guy's skin peeled off and salt dumped on him when he referred to Lucifer as "my ni@@a" instead of My Lord.
