I haven't been, but want to go in the next month or so.....when you get in your trip, how about writing up a synopsis of the trip.

It's fricking awesome. I went on opening day and was with the first group in. Give yourself a couple of hours or so and take your time going through. Ton of history, videos, interactive stuff to do. And don't forget to hit up the actual HOF on the third floor. Some people seemed to miss that part

It's pretty friggin cool. You can pick UGA as your team and when you get close to an exhibit you swipe your pass and it shows a UGA video.

Awesome thanks guys. Do yall recommend buying tickets ahead of time or is it not that big of a ordeal to buy there?

You're probably fine to just buy them there, unless you're also planning on visiting other museums and stuff around the area in which case I'd consider getting one of the ATL multi pass things.

We went on one of the busiest days of the year and bought ours there.

Make sure you go into the theatre and watch the video that was titled Gameday I think and it's on the second floor. Lots of dawg representation. Also spend some time playing with the huge touch screen wall.

Durden pretty much hit it, but the 3rd floor part is the best if you truly love College Football. Unfortunately for me, I wasn't able to spend as much time up there as I would like. I probably could have spent 5 hours up there.

You really could spend one day on the first two floors and a whole other visit on the third floor. They did a good job designing that place with a lot of stuff to see in one visit while also leaving themselves physical and technological room to expand new exhibits and information. I'm really excited to go back in early August and see how the Gameday video has changed. They told us when we were there that the plan is to update the video every year with different teams and different games.

It's about the best way I can think to take the general jacked-upedness of the preseason and push it to a fever pitch. I won't even lie: I teared up and had chills last year during the Gameday video. It was like your parents showing you a video of Disney World in January but you don't get to go until June.

Went this morning and had a great time. Thanks for the advice again guys. I spent probably an hour alone on the 3rd floor. All the interactive stuff is really cool and very well done. The gameday video was awesome. Didn't get to do the on field experience but that was no big deal for us.
