Why aren't UF fans as bitter as LSU fans?

I was thinking about this today, reading the Cryer thread. UF has lost two elite coaches that are better than $aban in Steve Superior and Urban Cryer, yet they strive on. I don't hear UF fans bashing these HOF coaches like LSU fans do $aban.

You obviously don't visit a lot of Florida boards. A good many of their fans dislike Meyer. The hatred is not as bad because he is not at a rival school

It's because Spurrier hasn't won any titles at SCar, so UF doesn't feel they missed his best years. But I like the premise of this thread, keep it up.

Spurrier is and always will be a Gator. He is a legend in Gainesville, and while some may not be happy he coaches against us no one is going to hate the guy.
A good number of fans do dislike Meyer, if he left for a year and then went back to an SEC school people would have much more upset.

Saban left LSU as the highest paid coach in College Football.
