nice nut shot mayne

I guess that means Army = LSU too ehh?

But seriously, Army counting as a P5 game? Come the hell on. I really hope that is a mistake b/c otherwise what the hell is the point of even saying you have to play a P5 team?

yes they should

they are typically as good as or better than roughly 1/3 to 1/2 of the P5 schools.

Well, LSU and Army both have two titles. So, no.

ETA: Also, LSU's are post WWII.

They're no worse than the bottom feeders of the BIG 10, ACC, or BIG 12.

Then Boise St should count too.

y'all both claim 3 actually and since we are going by titles = greatness Army must = LSU

Wat? They are mos def worse than the vast majority of the bottom feeders in those conferences.

If we are talking Navy or Air Force? Sure. But Army? They have been stuck on pure suck for a long time now. Since 1990 they have had exactly 4 above .500 seasons.

I dont disagree with that.

I think the entire narrative that being in a P5 automatically makes you a better opponent than a G5 that the P5 conferences are pushing is a load of horseshite.

Yeah no kidding. What is stopping teams from just scheduling the likes of Colorado and Kansas as their P5 team?

Two are widely recognized, and again, both of LSU's are post WWII.

Marginally, at best. It's no different than scheduling Indiana, Iowa State, Syracuse, Wake Forest, Colorado, Purdue, etc.

You guys might laugh, but I would recommend a two-for-one with Army. The campus and history are awesome, and I think SEC fans would enjoy a trip to West Point one fall weekend.

also, Colorado is about to have a big upturn IMO.
