Seriously.

Here is an excerpt from a recent Ryan Rosburg interview...

Interviewer: What's the funniest thing a fan has said to you on the road?

Rosburg: Get hair jokes, mean hair jokes all the time. People telling me I need to start Rogaine. We were at Auburn last year and these guys were talking to me all game, and I was just kind of brushing it off. Then after the game one of them came up to me and said, “Hey I know we were saying a lot of stuff to you, but you're actually a pretty cool dude.”

Interviewer: Anything besides hair?

Rosburg: Occasionally I hear stuff about ex-girlfriends and things like that. But that was only at Arkansas, I guess because so many St. Louis people go there. Also at Arkansas I guess they got my phone number and Snapchat and they were sending pictures of their dumps (ie. poops) or mirror selfies. Then, after the game at Arkansas last year, they kept calling me, and eventually Tony Criswell answered instead of me. They didn't call back after that.

On the flipside, apparently he's dating Megan Brillos, the dance captain of the Golden Girls, Mizzou's famous dance squad.

Interviewer: Your current girlfriend is a Golden Girl, correct?

Rosburg: That is correct (Megan Brillos).

Interviewer: Some people are saying you guys are the poster couple of Mizzou. Would you agree?

Rosburg: (laughs) Um, you could say that, sure. Just because it's very stereotypical. Basketball player dating the dance captain. We've known each other for a long time, and it's cool to see her at all the games. Took us a long time to acknowledge each other at all the games, even after we started dating. But now we wave to each other during the games.

In a tweet posted on Monday, the man who Forbes estimates to be worth roughly $4.8 billion dollars said, "I may have started 400 companies, but my great-great uncle Ruben S. Branson founded a city."

The WRVHS article says Ruben S. Branson founded the city of Branson in 1882, and owned a general store and post office with the first registered address of the city.

WTF? Seriously?

quote:

The blog of the self made billionaire goes on to say, "now that I have traced our lineage to Branson, I'm excited to find out more. From Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede to the stunning Ozark Mountains, Branson puts the Show in the Show Me State."

Richard Branson sent out another tweet on Monday that said, "exploring opportunities in Branson, Missouri - want to paint the town red."

Branson Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce President, Jeff Seifried, says his reaction to the news was excitement, shock and surprise –all rolled into one.

frick YEAH!!! THAT WOULD BE GREAT FOR SWMO!

There's probably 3 of my daughter's friends who have ended up at Arkansas. Another kid from our church is considering it. The Non Resident scholarship makes it cheaper than in state with Mizzou for kids with the GPA.

How long a leash does the Mizzou head coach have? Could they be joining Bama and IU in the ranks of programs looking for a HC soon?

yep I could've gone to either but I liked Fayetteville better than Columbia, that was the deciding factor

All trolling aside too. I've been through Fayetteville numerous times on my way to Nola. It really is a beautiful part of the country. I love the Ozark landscape on both sides of the line.

I grew up on the MO side, better lakes than on the Ark side but yes scenery is amazing on both.

Okay, trolling back on...are native Arkansasians miffed that SW Missouri hit the jackpot with Branson, Table Rock Lake, Silver Dollar City, Big Cedar Lodge, Top of the Rock, etc while they have to deal with Dog Patch rotting to the ground and Eureka Springs seeming to have no future minded leadership?
