Will it ever happen under Greg Sankey's watch?

Which teams should and could be included?

You idiots won't stop until football is ruined. Next you'll want 12 timeouts per team.

Kansas and UNC.

SEC will be the best conference in all sports, unrivaled.

One Yankee state is bad enough. Two and we'll have to change our name. At least Mizzou have hillbillies.

Let's make this discussion interesting and not a troll dick measuring contest. I say expansion will happen. The power 5s will start bringing in little 5 teams. This will be driven by two things: Football, and paying players. The NCAA is approaching a crossroads right now. I'd bet that the power 5s will slowly begin to take over in terms of running college sports as former/current players go after the NCAA. Mid-level schools will look to form super-conferences in attempt to reorganize and monopolize college sports again.

Further, the CFB Playoff drives teams to want to play only power 5s for SOS. Obivously mid level teams in bad conferences (i.e. Boise State, marshall) have a disadvantage to make the playoffs. It may be wise for these teams to push to move up more than ever.

UNC would be the top choice. But I don't know if they would be able to break away from the other North Carolina schools.

Add Virginia or Virginia Tech to UNC or NC State, and we're done. That would be an unbeatable conference footprint.

UVA thinks they are too good academically to join the SEC. If we could convince them to join, Vandy and Kentucky could have their own bitch!

UNC used to think that way too. Then that little scandal broke last year. Maybe the Tarheels are a little more humble now.
