I haven't ever received any good advice so I just Googled some.

Some cricket player said, "Don't die wondering."

Don't sweat the petty things,
always pet the sweaty things.

Women are like ripe watermelon in the field. All different on the outside, but all red, warm and wet on the inside.

My grandmother always told me that a journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.

It is also a Daoist saying.

My dad told me when I got my first job to never stick my pen in company ink.

I never slept with a coworker because of that advice...so I can't say whether it was good or bad. I listened to it though.
