I keep trying to convince myself we have a shot but...

You are in. Georgia has a fighting chance.

You're going to have to beat someone eventually. This year it's just the first round.
Everyone is playing a reasonably tough game by the second round.

We'll have the crowd, a relatively short drive, and hopefully a week will be enough to heal up. We got this shite!

In 2004 Nevada beat Sparty in the 1st round. Mark Fox was an Asst Coach on that Nevada team before becoming HC the next season. So there's that.

If we play like we did vs Kentucky then we have a good chance to beat Sparty. But the Sweet Sixteen I don't know

Spartans aren't all that good this year. If the dogs are healthy they will win

Michigan state is really good

Michigan St is good and extremely well coached but they also don't seem to have the explosive scoring power of some previous teams.
From what I've seen, they seem to play pretty close games against almost every opponent whether mediocre or as good as Wisconsin.
Again they're so well coached that they do seem to win a large proportion of those but if Georgia plays well I think it'll go to the final few minute being anyone's game.

It's tourney time and there is enough talent with Izzo as coach for them to make the Final Four. I like their draw.

I prefer MST over having t play a Nova in 2nd round. 10s beat 7s all the time.

I’ve watched a lot of basketball this year. While Michigan State has improved, this UGA team matches up very well. I’ve been pretty honest about this team all year, the good and bad. I think UGA takes Sparty down in rd 1. Virginia as the probable 2nd round match-up is a gift if you look at the other #2 seeds. Personally, I think UGA got a great draw.

I'll agree. UGA might be the toughest matchup for Sparty on their way to the Final 4.

I'm sure MSU isn't very excited either. Dawgs can play really well....and really bad as well. Not ideal but we can win. Just have to play well right out of the gate.
