With this team, we can either go toe to toe with UK or lose to Auburn at home.
I'm just stoked it's a friday game in Charlotte which means it could be a pretty solid UGA crowd for once at a tourney game

Yeah... I do. We run a similar offense as Wisconsin. I think we can give them a run for their money. Gaines on Trice and Mann on Valentine are good match-ups. Thornton will dominate them in the paint. Absolute we have a shot.

We had a 10 point lead on kentucky, who cares?
I'm thrilled we're the 10 seed. People see "michigan state" and piss themselves. Obviously they're good, they're a 7 seed, but they aren't invincible. And we get to play a boring virginia team round 2 instead of villanova who would slaughter us.

Denzel Valentine on Charles Mann is an absolute nightmare matchup.
Djurisic and Thornton have to ball out from the perimeter. Michigan State had a slow start to the season and seemed to figure it out in the B1G tournament. They beat Ohio State soundly, they beat a really good Maryland team, and they took Wisconsin to overtime. They're talented and hot right now. They could easily beat UVA and Villanova and slide into the Final Four as a 7 seed.

Well hate that we are playing an Izzo coached team in March who is red hot right now. They are a good team with experience and play really hard.
That said they aren't quite as talented as usual. We can compete for sure. Will be some great individual matchups. Need a relatively healthy Kenny and need to shoot it at a solid clip.
and I wouldn't say Virginia is overrated, best defensive team in the country. Not crazy about that one but doesn't matter at all. A win over Michigan state in the tourney would be huge for our program.
