Mizzou sucks at baseball. They just swept us at home. Do the maths and it ain't pretty.

I really thought Stricklin could turn it around this year, I'm sure he'll get a coupla more years. After the FSU DH sweep on that Sat. I was optimistic as frick, this last month has sucked...

Well since you don't seem to know his name, I'll take your opinion with a grain of salt.

To be fair to the guy, we looked clearly better to start this year than we have in any of the past 5 (we were 12-5 going into this weekend). But shitting the bed at home against a conference foe like Mizzou (who, while supposedly a lot better this year than past years, is still fricking Mizzou) is just bad. And not having two of your weekend starters, plus apparently lacking your best freshman batter and your 6th year senior catcher, just makes this a bad situation early in the season. We'll see what kind of coach he really is over the next couple of weeks.

Was in Athens on Saturday to watch my daughter be inducted as a State officer for Hosa at The Classic Center. We drove around campus before going back downtown for lunch and when we drove by Foley, Mizz was taking infield practice. Think it was around 1pm and the stadium was empty. I wondered what time the first pitch was and tried to convince my wife and four kids that we should stop and attend the game. But no, we had to go eat right then and drive 2 hours back to Bremen. Offered all the hot dogs they could eat but everybody was tired from the previous 2 days festivities.
