Here's my partial list:
1. Kingdom Come - Get it On (probably the most blatant)
2. Billy Squier - Lonely Tonight
3. Zebra - Who's Behind the Door
Obviously there are many more examples so let's see how many we can compile.

I'm not sure what you're asking.

What songs or bands have you heard that are blatantly trying to copy Led Zeppelin's sound.
If you listen to any of those three I listed, and you listen to Led Zeppelin, you can't mistake how they tried to copy their sound.

95% of LZ's songs were stolen from other bands.
Led Zeppelin is probably the greatest cover band of all time.

You don't think the OP is aware of that sentiment?
Also - doesn't matter LZ had sex. And is the GOAT Rock and Roll band

I realize alot of their songs were old blues songs, but they took those songs and made their own sound and attitude.
Hence why they are considered one of the most legendary hard rock bands of all time.
I guess I'm not seeing why this question is so difficult.

You need to read a little bit, LZ didn't make songs they're own, they blatantly ripped people off.

I've read all about it man. I'm aware of this. If you think they didn't develop their own sound that influenced rock and roll for generations than you are delusional.
I love the blues and have listened to all the songs that people reference LZ using. Those artists didn't have anywhere close to the sound of Led Zeppelin. They were old blues artists.

I'm pretty sure Wolfmother's entire catalog qualifies

That's a good one.
I'll add to it by saying Barracuda by Heart with a specific reference to the guitar/bass riffs

There's several White Stripes songs that really, really sound like Led Zep. So uh, are we gonna sue everyone?

No of course not. That's the last thing I'd ever advocate. In fact, I'm still pissed at the Stones for suing the Verve over Bitter Sweet Symphony.
This isn't the point or spirit of the topic. It's just supposed to be a fun way of pointing out blatant examples of a band trying to sound like Zeppelin. I don't blame any of them for doing so as I'd probably do the same because it sells records.

I'm going to sue you for replying to me

LZ sued your mom. Twice

I got a good ambulance chaser on retainer

Are we talking about bands that ripped off the artists that Led Zeppelin ripped off?
To answer your question, I'd say Whitesnake

If you mean playing the same riffs, only plugged into an amplifier , then yes, they had their own sound. And I'm a LZ fan
