Definitely Tim Cook for Auburn.

Jimmy Wales is another candidate...inventor of Wikipedia.

Wales received his graduate degree from Alabama though and pulls for the Tide in the Iron Bowl.

Presently, probably Darius Rucker

Non-Musician Famous might be Darla Moore (Insurance Magnate, Membership at Augusta National, Benefactor of the #1 International Business School in the US.)

Although...Hootie Johnson is fairly famous too being Bank of America's CEO and also a member of Augusta National.

The "average" person nationally would have a higher probability of knowing Darius Rucker though out of anyone.

Probably Stipe, Mills, Berry, and Buck of REM

Or Ryan Seacrest, but I'll just say REM for the sake of shame avoidance.

There's also Coach Taylor from FNL, Kim Basinger, Wayne Knight, Alton Brown, and Natasha Trethewey.
