all I know is it was caused by some deer and she was thrown from the car.
Frickin deer. As stupid as squirrels when it comes to vehicles/roads/highways. ... We just saw an accident caused by one on I-12 the other day. Damn thing tried to cross, broad daylight, at the beginning of rush hour traffic. It should be illegal to plant winter/rye grass along roadways, especially highways & interstates. ... I've been in 2 wrecks bc of those frickers. Scare the shite outta me. ... Hope CG is feeling better today & continues to improve quickly.

My wife hit a deer at twilight about 4 years ago in Kennesaw Ga, which is suburban ATL. Stupid doe just bounded across the road. She clipped it getting fur and deer shite all over the front of the car. Stupid animal was knocked on its arse, then got up and ran off.

Glad she's coming out of it. Will pray for quick and full recovery

Yep, for sure heads up. We've seen a number of them down here in SELA the past couple of weeks.

They are a menace in AR & LA. Literally every family member I have has hit one (or dumbass deer ran into them), at least once, & most a few times over the past decade or so. ... One of the accidents that I was involved in totaled my bf's (at the time) car, and I still cannot believe he maintained control. It happened on a late sunny afternoon on a 2-lane busy state hwy. A huge doe ran, top speed, into the side of his vehicle while we were in the middle of a sharp curve. I remember it in slow motion - heard the loud thud, shattering glass, & the deer's head inside the car facing me, between my bf's face & the steering wheel. Hell, he couldn't see the road. Incredibly, he braked, took the ditch, & didn't hit another car. The deer got untangled from us, but was badly injured lying in the road behind us. Another vehicle almost hit it. My bf thankfully had his pistol & shot the deer since it was really messed up, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't too upset about that after seeing what it did to his new car. I just remember seeing that damn deer's head inside of the vehicle, not comprehending what the hell was happening, and glass & deer hair flying all over inside the car. I'll also never forget the strong, heavy smell of that fricker in the car. Weird, surreal, & terrifying. ...

It was so damn scary. ... I've been driving & hit a deer since then when one ran in front of me on a major hwy in the middle of the night, but that still wasn't as bad as the deer running through the car incident.

Did y'all eat
Yeah, actually made it to the restaurant, albeit in my car, and had some nice strips & quite a few cocktails a little later on after we dealt with that whole situation. ... Pretty sure the dudes in the truck behind us, who adamantly volunteered to "haul away" the deer, "ate."

T&P; and I apologize for being so late to comment on this. I saw it the other day and just haven't been on a computer where I could log in and post.
Deer running in front of the car is one of my biggest nightmares. Wife was on her way to work a couple of years ago and sees this lady literally jump out of the car she was driving without bothering to put it in park. Car rolls down a hill and hits a brick mailbox. The lady had hit a deer and it came headfirst through the windshield, but was still alive and kicking.
