I'm intrigued by Averett at WR. Wasn't he originally recruited as a WR? He was known as a burner IIRC

yeah he struggled in that game. but i dont remember him missing wide open throws. maybe he did, i just dont remember. the biggest thing that stands out in my mind is the interception to V.Bell on the throw to Howard. It should have been thrown deeper. But i don't think of that as missing a wide open throw. I think the defender deserves some credit there too. When I think of a QB missing a wide open throw I think of Spencer Pennington throwing at Tyrone Prothro.

we are going to be big at receiver this year. robert foster 6'3 (and apparently able to outrun tony brown), cam sims 6'4", raheem falkins 6'4", derrick kief 6'5", and our slot guys are both 6' in chris black and ardarius stewart. also, did anyone notice how much weight dakota ball has lost to play tight end? he listed at 6'3" 254, was almost 300lbs out of high school. thats some good dedication

I think Foster is pretty lean. Not sure if he is 200. I don't think he's really in the mold of Julio or Cooper. Should be fun to watch him play though. I hope he's more than just a Keith Brown type burner.

I see Foster as a guy who is gonna be a really smooth route runner, not as good as Coop, but no one is. Little bit taller, I used to think not as fast, but he did beat Tony Brown in a race. You know how the race stories go though.

Geno wasn't at practice; no surprise there.
Big Cam was back with the OL with both ankles taped.
Mo Smith and Jabriel were with the ones at safety. I can already here the fans screaming for the freshmen to start.
Marlon practiced with the first team defense at CB opposite tony brown.
