Our DBs, no matter who they are would be greatly helped by a more aggressive scheme up front. I get the whole contain concept against a mobile QB, but we failed miserably at it.

He had the mono during football last yr I believe it started during the tail end of the season

Yup, but I'm not even sure what to take from practice reports anymore. Hootie/Ronnie were taking first team reps all week, then Geno/EJ started the scrimmage. Saban is weird.

Sounds like we just need another RT to have a pretty good 2 deep. Grant Hill certainly could've filled that role. Lester Cotton could step in there when he joins in the summer

grant hill if healthy would be competing for a 1 spot not a 2 spot in my humble opinion

I wonder if we'll see the Crimson QBs plays with the 1s? Saban sort of made it seem like we were gonna let em all get reps with the 1s at A-Day.
