Cash was better. I respect Hank's influence, but Johnny made better music IMO.

I take that back. I don't like Hank. I like the one damn song I've seen hank play. That's another reason it has to be Cash. We have so much more available from Johnny.

Cash

Hank Sr. is better than Jr.

Cash over both them tho. Cash over basically anyone ever.

Cash. I hate all 3 or 4 of the Hanks.

I'll just add that I hate all country music.

I haven't looked at it really closely, but I think a lot of Cash's stuff was written by other people, some stolen, some just openly covered.

I'm not sold on him being as genuine of a bad arse as his legend says.

That said, we know Zeppelin thieved their way to fame -- but it's undeniable that they were rockstars and played the stage, like Johnny.

So it's one half and a dozen. I just like to be aware of that kind of stuff.

Johnny Cash by a wide margin. Hank had some great songs, but it's pretty one dimensional as far as mood goes.

I've always loved Waylon as well. Really great voice. ... Although out of all country artists, not just "outlaw," Jones is my favorite & is tGOAT, imo.

Hank Sr., but barely. Hank Jr. is terrible.

Merle Haggard over everybody.

He wasn't. Haggard was.
