That timeline always seemed very aggressive to me. Anyway, he'll miss all of spring and fall camp at the very least so any shot at getting in the safety rotation is likely out.

Hope they take it slow with him because he's likely ticketed for ST duty anyway.

Happened early enough that he should be back healthy in time for the season. Definitely by conference play.

ACL?

It should be close enough to a 12 month rehab that he'll likely medical RS.

Rehab is really about 6 months now for that injury. He may have to miss the season, but I doubt it. Look for him to be a key special teams player.

He's not eligible for a med RS likely, so he'll play when he can.

Dude has been snake bitten so far here. Hopefully this is his last road bump.

I don't think so, but you're free to think that.

6 months to maybe get to a point that you can start rebuilding strength, 9 months, if you're rushing it, to get back in playing form.

It's a full calendar year injury.

Doubt he plays.

They originally stated he may be back by fall camp. Which, again, I thought was pretty aggressive but he'll be back at some point this year (assuming no setbacks)

May take Joe Blow a year, but he's a high level athlete in great shape with access to top notch rehab whose job it will be to rehab.

It took Adrian Peterson 9 months. So..

It's well documented that you're not at pre-injury level until 9-12 months, most being over 12 months, even NFL players.

Also returning at 6 months adds to the risk of re-injury.

I'd bet he doesn't play. You're free to think he will.

We can make fun of the one who's wrong, if we remember.

Yea it's usually 9 before they play. Around 6 months is when doctors release a player to full sport specific activities. Takes a few months to build up to being able to actually play. So appears I am wrong in thinking he will be able to play this season.

Practice started back up today

@DavidCMorrison: G Brad McNulty and S Cortland Browning are back but limited in practice. WR Nate Brown, S Tavon Ross, RB Morgan Steward still out.

Haha...

@DavidCMorrison: McGovern said he once put Boehm through such a tough leg workout that Boehm wouldn't talk to him for three days.

@DavidCMorrison: Boehm: "Connor benches and squats a house. Am I jealous? Kind of. A little bit."

Rhodes looking good

@Dave_Matter: Writing about Missouri's O-line for tomorrow's P-D. Seniors have raved about RT Clay Rhodes, only guy on 1st-team line who hasn't started

Sounds like Rhodes is impressing at RT and Cuellar starting to move up the ranks at LT, working with the 2nd team. Think he did the typical start last on the depth chart as a newcomer.

First scrimmage open to media is tomorrow. Should get some real ideas about depth chart moves on Friday.

Sweet! Should be some nice video come out of that as well.

I understand why they close the practices, but it sucks. I remember a few years ago having video of every practice during spring and fall campS
