Dude was straight up awful his first year in the NFL. his 2nd season he was still pretty bad too. He really really started to turn it up his 3rd year and is now a beast. I love how he is not afraid to tackle.
So a lot of fans just remember how damn bad he used to be without realizing the stud he has turned in to.

I always have had a high opinion of the dude. Wasn't he an all american or something his senior year? Or something? I know Javier Arenas was an All American corner in 2009.

Not true. One on here bashed him his whole time in Tuscaloosa. KJ has been really good. Maybe not Townsend or Bryant good but he has done very well at Bama and Texas. Congrats to him for getting the icing that he deserves on his cake.

I know I know. He was inconsistent at Alabama then left early which Saban wasn't thrilled about then had a slow start to his career.
But, mention him during a "Bama bust" thread and watch other fans' reactions. He's absolutely viewed by other fans as a legit shittard bottom 5 CB in football.
