What is the largest factor that leads to disinterest in College Baseball?

I, for one, grew up playing baseball. Feel in love with the sport at a young age and that passion hasn't wavered since. In your individual experience, if it pertains to you, what is most off-putting about the current state of the sport? This isn't a discussion about where it ranks or how it compares with other sports or a flame fest between the history and success of other schools. I am just curious on a personal level as to why it holds such little importance to some compared to other collegiate sports. Factors to ponder on: fan/alumni support, regional location, endowment, success level, players forgoing college, rules and regulations, etc.

Quality of play is terrible.
I watch 150+ Braves games a year + have a mini season ticket plan in ATL.
Going to college games is just terrible in comparison to me. Hate all the small ball.

Media coverage, the sport being more of a "go attend the games" rather than watch type deal, and the fact that half the country doesn't have great weather for the time it starts.
Add that to the fact that most of the best players go directly to the minor leagues and its vastly overlooked as a sport.

The majority of elite prospects is probably number one. weather is probably #2. college baseball needs the Big 10 to be good with so many highly populated states

To me is hasn't lost any interest. I don't miss a game that either Arkansas or Iowa is playing, and watch a bunch of other Big Ten and SEC games. To me only college football is better.

I watch Arkansas baseball when it is on TV, and then the college world series.

1. The best baseball players never play in college
2. Each individual regular season game has very little importance to the outcome of a season.
3. It's a slow, boring, dying game that is losing interest nationally, even in MLB.
4. You can't drink beer in the stands.
5. It's even more boring on tv.
6. The players don't even get full scholarships.

how exactly does the NCAA justify screwing college baseball with scholarships so badly? Title 9? I've never actually heard an explanation

Lack of talent, like watching a good high school team. So many kids go right to the minors from HS and skip college, a good college team has what 2 or 3 actual MLB prospects if that? Usually have 1 stud pitcher and 1 or 2 good bats that may make double A/triple A ball maybe?
Minor league teams all over the country that offer a lot more across the board to go watch instead, especially if you are a fan of their MLB team.
