-Reggie Chevis is officially at DE

-Sabian Holmes is still on the roster
-Devonta Burns is now at safety

-Brett Wade is now at FB and wearing #37
-Tyrone Taylor is no longer on the team
-Per reports, (247) Justin Manning has not shown up to practice

Sabo played some safety or CB in high school. He could've been a candidate to move to the other side. As it stands, he may not break the 2-deep, and his BFF is no longer on the team.

Brett Wade at FB could be a good thing. I'd like to think Dave Christensen is going to get the ground game prepared to run the clock out when we have the lead

I would just like to be able to consistently pick up a first down by running on 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1.

He's in school and still with the team and I don't know this for certain, but based on some comments, I'm pretty sure Manning has been suspended for something. Sumlin doesn't talk about in-house business so it's why no one is talking

Last year when all the other LBs warmed up together, he hung out on the sideline chatting with people. And I noticed this in the one game in his career when he actually played (Lamar). You never know, but I wouldn't put much stock in him having an impact. At this point he hasn't even emerged as a ST player.
I think this is a lot like the Alexander move. If he's not making an impact at LB, you move him around til you find a spot he can benefit the team. We need someone practicing so Jordan Davis gets some time off as the H but his bigger impact will probably be as a FB on scout team.

Even absent tmc's post, you don't move a guy to FB in the Air Raid because you want to showcase his hidden talents.
