I like LSU for two reasons -- AU & LSU games have always (usually) been hard-nosed games that took everything the teams had. My first was sometime in the early 70s in a pouring rain in JH. After that, LSU always was a respected opponent for me. Secondly, when LSU fans came to Auburn - they were great guests and deserved respect. Good people.
Yeah I know, that was a long time before all the newbie SEC members had even thought or hoped they could join the SEC.
That's pretty classy, which is sorely lacking sometimes on this site.
Back atcha sir. Every time we visit Auburn we have a blast.
The early 70's game at JH in the rain might be the 17-9 classic in 1970. Came down to the final minute I believe. This was one year after the '69 Auburn/LSU game in Death Valley that was my first ever (at age 5 :)

what is all the aTm envy about LSU bout?
Maybe Im out of the loop, but aTm should just embrace their own stuff (yell leaders, collie dog) and go forward from there. I fear if they don't, the Longhorn Strongs will make them more second-class than they act already in Tejas.

I would say 95% of current LSU students could not get into tu or A&M.
