1. Their food is so healthy. Low carb non fat gumbo is the best. I wish I could have gourmet seafood that lives in the ditch next to the road every day. Mmmm

2. Their fans are the nicest people. They always throw drinks and stuff at me, but I have bad reflexes so I waste most of it on my clothes. I hate to waste their gifts.

3. Purple and Gold are such inclusive and tolerant colors; if you know what I mean

4. Tigers, c'mon who doesn't like Tigers? Mizzou and Auburn and Clemson....they are just so rare and awesome, although I think LSU loves it's tiger too much, they are always talkin about sucking it's d*ck and I don't think they should be doing that to their tiger. But I'm not judging

5. They give their best coaches to their neighbors in need. Most schools say "hey you can't take our best coach" but not LSU, they are all about "it's ok, take our best coach, we didn't like him anyway"

Thanks LSU

I like LSU for two reasons -- AU & LSU games have always (usually) been hard-nosed games that took everything the teams had. My first was sometime in the early 70s in a pouring rain in JH. After that, LSU always was a respected opponent for me. Secondly, when LSU fans came to Auburn - they were great guests and deserved respect. Good people.
Yeah I know, that was a long time before all the newbie SEC members had even thought or hoped they could join the SEC.

Serious question, how many LSU wall posters do you have up in your mom's basement?

Actually I'd rather have fish, oysters, crawfish and shrimp from the world's largest exporter of seafood - Plaquemines Parish, LA - that is also thoroughly tested and highly regulated; than Vietnamese or Taiwanese seafood that comes in to the U.S. unregulated and untested - but people regularly eat and get sick on......

BTW, the only carbs in gumbo might be the crackers or a scoop of rice some people might throw on top. Gumbo itself is merely vegetables, seafood (or sausage/chicken), and oil/roux base and spices.

As for the nickname 'Tigers', we have had that moniker since the Civil War. Others chose to adopt that name for their own reasons. Ours fits.
As far as I know, we are the only one with a live 700 pound Siberian/Bengal Tiger in his own privately maintained 15,000 sf habitat also.

And our "best coach" outside of Les Miles, might be Frank Wilson. But with the addition of Ed Orgeron and Kevin Steele - our cup runneth over.

At least none of our new coaches were working for their previous employer while wearing LSU colors and recruiting for LSU.
