Better odds of getting fired next week, Rick Ray or Anthony Grant?

Grant has under achieved and is payed a TON by Bama and has really struggled this season.
Ray is wrapping up his 3rd straight losing season at Mississippi State. They had 2 losing seasons in the 20 seasons prior to his hiring.

I'd say both are gone next week

Grant because I think Ray gets another year.

Might as well give Ray another year and see what happens at this point.

Gotta let Grant go.
How many years does he have 8 year seniors and still manage so little?
Dred dude has been there at least 6 years now. Where does he find these guys? Even Releford is playing his 8th season over at NC State.

3-39 vs top 50 RPI last 3 years
that's hard to do (it'll be 3-40 after Sat).

Grant will be back at UF soon.
The band is getting back together.

Was that top 50 RPI during the ranking during the season or in the final polls. Only one is valid on tRant.

I doubt it will get better next year but I don't think we fire Ray after just 3 years. He gets one more year.

I don't think I've ever liked a coach this much who performed this badly. Grant has to go, but I won't be celebrating.

He needs to go. We are not getting Newman and not signing any other players to call home about. Might as well get a new hire and begin to restructure all over again. The sooner the better.

That attitude is why Auburn is so horrible this year. Never give a sinking ship another year. Ray will not be able to recruit and it will be another lost year for your team. Look at Florida football for another example and the way that they struggled to recruit this year. Having a lame duck coach just doesn't work.

Grant is likely gone.
Ray has one year left on his contract, so he will get it so we don't have to pay a buy out and because his best recruiting class yet is coming in. He'll have to have a winning record in the SEC next year to get an extension, and I'd put 50/50 odds on that.
