Cool story bro

8-4 would be par for this year. It's the lowest record I would be ok with.

I would be worried that Saban's schemes are getting outdated and he is slowly losing it. After all, he is 63 years old. Strict disciplinarian coaches rarely do well at that age.

This sounds like deja vu from this exact same time last year.....Especially in the wake of hiring Lane.

At this point in our rebuild process? I would be fairly happy.

2015 has been the year Rebal fans have been pointing to for three years. I will be annoyed with anything less than 10 wins this season. I know double-digit wins isn't par for the course for us but our defense should be one of the tops in the country again. So if we win nine or less games, it will be because our offense looked like hell, meaning Freeze isn't the offensive wizard he's pegged to be.

It was nice winning the conference but the SEC was down and I wasn't very happy seeing Bama getting their asses kicked by a team starting their 3rd string QB. A case can definitely be made that Bama has declined every year since 2011. Hopefully, this is just a bump in the road but there is definitely cause for concern with the way this program is trending.

You are such a negative nancy.

We didn't get our arse kicked by OSU. Calling Jones a 3rd string QB diminishes the fact that he is an absolutle boss. I don't care where he was on the depth chart, he isn't your typical "3rd string QB".

So we have declined since maybe the best Alabama team of all time in 2011? Shoot.

I don't know why you go so far out of your way to be a negatider. No one on here will think you are cooler.

A football coach will make 4 million or more, and finish last in the SEC West.

Living up to the 2011 and 2012 teams was impossible. Those teams were built on the classes of 2008 and 2009. The classes that immediately followed were great but no where near as good in hindsight. Thankfully the 2014 and 2015 classes seem to be as good on paper. Let's see how they develop.

We will soon have a roster with a majority of players that haven't experienced a national title. Maybe that entitlement attitude is gone. It just goes to show you how difficult it is to stay on top, even with a deep and talented roster.

I'll be pretty pissed.

9 wins is the floor or Sumlin will be on the hot seat. How warm depends on the margin of the loss.

Bama got out-gained by nearly 200 yards. We got our arse kicked.

There's a reason why he was on 3rd string on the depth chart. From the limited time I've seen him play, Jones makes plays but turns the ball over constantly. The '09 and '11 teams would have punished that Ohio State team.

When you decline EVERY year, yes it's a sign of concern.

I don't think I'm a negative fan at all. I try to evaluate my favorite teams not wearing rose-colored glasses all the time.
