So weird to see our local HS kid, Tyler Queen throwing balls at Auburn. Good luck to him. I seriously doubt he ever sees the field as a regular AU QB.

Sean White must have grown. He doesn't looks only 3 inches shorter than JJ

I want 2013 back. Just dont want to pass the ball that much. We have so much more control when we can run the ball.
The key to our offense is 3rd and short. In 2010 and 2013, AU could not be stopped on 3rd and <=2. Cam always got it in 2010, and Mason always got it in 2013.
We will always have big plays in Gus offense - passing or running. The difference in title runs are 3rd and short. If we have someone that can be Cam or Mason we will not lose. If we don't have someone that can get this automatic first down then we will probably get beat a couple of times.

I've got a connection to his recruiting process and it is hard not to root for him. He is an awesome kid.
I'm hoping he develops into a better version of Ben Bradley.

quote:JMO but we don't have the 2013 OL to do that. Nor is Pettway or Cox Prosh 2.0. Plus we don't have a proven blocking TE so I think we'll have to be more balanced by necessity.
You and me both brother. Give me 2013 offense over any balanced offense anyday. I think I was pretty vocal about that last year.
Just run the damn ball

wonder where Melvin Ray will fit into the WR role this year now that Tony is...clearly ahead of him.

We're installing the 3-4 D this week per Frosty.

Gus has said numerous times "he is ready to take the next step" and "if he is consistent he will be on the field a lot" Maybe I'm wrong, I would love for Melvin Ray to be targeted more, but he might be blocking like he did all last year.
