I believe that Fountain was part of the ST success under Chizik. Gene seemed to focus on ST also, his plan was to lose offense (w/o Gus) and defense but win special teams.

He said you're misinformed about Fountain and should stick to sharing recruiting news. I told him he was being rather harsh, but he ignored me and continued eating his waffle.
His wife was like Shut up Gus
I felt uncomfortable after that and continued eating my hash browns.
It wasn't till later over chick pea stew he finally admitted he may have been a little too harsh, and told me to tell you even though you were misinformed that he wishes you the best and will give you a visor this coming season.

I would not have said that about Fountain of my own accord. It came straight from the man himself. Turns out he has a place in FL next door to a good friend of mine. He was out playing catch with his kid (Spring Break I guess), so my friend went out and talked to him.

He was rather blunt about his situation. Said a few things about Gus that made me even happier we have him.
Some stuff that he said that I guess is cool to share, and I found interesting. Gus is not okay with how last season played out, and everyone is on notice, so to speak.
Thompson is coaching the BUCK position only. (I take it Muschamp has the LB himself, but that wasn't mentioned for whatever reason)
Said they had practiced that ST play we ran at the end of the FSU game for 6 years, even when Gus was OC. ( If one block is made Mason likely scores
)
