I will never be able to wrap my head around this. Is it attention whoring, narcissism, or stupidity that makes these girls do this shite? At least with the strippers and porn stars they get paid to do what they do.

it gives them the opportunity to be "discovered." i mean i googled the first ones name, and she has pages of hits and people talking about her. google your own name and see how much info there is. 10 down i found a link to my linked in profile and that's it as it pertains to me.
that being said, my sister in law's sister is a former fitness model and is paid $$$$ to post instagram photos of herself by fitness products or talking about workouts. her husband is a millionaire (rich old balls) and she doesn't have to work, but she pretty much gets paid to look good and post selfies at this point.
