I have a ton of confidence that Schott will develop whoever the starter end up being, into a very good QB. He's already coached Brees,Rivers, and Bradford. He can probably teach a lot more about the position than Bobo could've.

Don't know about that. Bobo actually played the position at a high level in college. He has also recruited, signed and coached a #1 draft pick and the current SEC QB record holder in just about every category. Bobo can evaluate and teach the QB position pretty damn well.

This isn't directed at you. I'm not sure why ppl are so down on Ramsey just because he turned the ball over a couple of times. The kid was just a redshirt freshman. Considering the fact that he came out of an offense that didn't really throw the ball I think his footwork, pocket presence, and decision making are where they should be. Also, I highly doubt that Eason will be the starter in 16. I believe he'll play, but I don't believe he'll start.

Yup... look at Fats, strong armed, talented gun-slinger 7td's - 13 int's in '06...

Ramsey has the deer in the headlights look that makes me want to puke out of fear when he's out there. He was put on the HS team because of his arm but it wasn't a good team and his arm might be a double edged sword. If Park can sling the ball and is mobile then Schott should go with him. We'll wait and see but no one shoudl just give that kid the job. I've heard on numerous occassions that Batu's arm is really good and he is really mobile. Couldbe a fun battle to watch.

Bauta will be the starter. Carve it in stone.

Jacob Park looks like a rapey douchebag. But maybe that's just what we need.

Bauta is a little rapey. I wouldn't put it past him.

Park will transfer if he doesn't ger the job. I hope it's Ramsey but I'm glad it's a wide open battle will make for an interesting spring. If Park is as good as some of the guys say he is running the scout team he might just edge out Ramsey. I'll be happy with Ramsey or Park though.

I want to see the QB competition extend into the first two games which should be easy wins. Live action will tell more than the G Day Game and practice scrimmages.

I personally hope Ramsey wins the job. I think our chances are better with a known shitty QB with a little big time experience than an unknown shitty QB with no experience.

And the only reason I say shitty is that 1st yr QB's are typically are going to make poor decisions. The assumption is they improve with experience...which is where Ramsey would lead going into spring.

We need someone seasoned when we make a legit run in 2016.

How about a platoon system with Ramsey, Fauta, and Park for awhile. Kind of hard for opponents to prepare for three quarterbacks.

Wasn't some program once upon a time successful alternating at least two?

If you have three qbs you don't have one.

if he had that potential, he wouldn't have been 3rd or 4th string last year, would he?

that's typically where people who are redshirting end up. Should our RS quarterback have been 2nd string IYO?
