Why was your fanbase so upset then?

Why did you have to switch to playing on Thanksgiving though? You've been in this conference for forever and they just let us have our way with the schedules

Why are you discussing LSU in an Arkansas/A&M thread?

Sorry your troll thread isn't going as planned. This is far more interesting

What does the fanbase have to do with scheduling games? The AD's compromised so both schools could keep a tradition, yet aTm fans act like they got what they wanted and LSU fans got the shaft.

ETA: Both fanbase got what they wanted. aTm fans wanted the game on Thanksgiving, LSU fans wanted it on Friday.

They're the ones that buy the tickets. Sorry you have this jaded notion of what an AD is supposed to be, I guess I understand after years of LSUs neutral site OOS games and bowing down to the SEC office though. Sad really

Because we did get exactly what we wanted and there were numerous LSU fans that cried and acted like they got the shaft because we want to play a game on thanksgiving

it appears to me from reading applications that Arkansas has a higher ceiling as a football program than does A&M.

The only program in the SEC with a higher ceiling than A&M is Florida. Alabama, LSU, and Georgia closely follow.

So did LSU fans. We wanted the home game on Friday, and we got it. It's astonishing that you two can't comprehend that.

Those LSU fans are going to get over it, just like the aTm fans that want to play the game on Thanksgiving every year will have to get over it not happening.m

ETA: Neither fanbase got "exactly what they wanted" BTW. aTm doesn't get to play on thanksgiving every year and LSU has to play on thanksgiving every other year.

Except none of our fans care or are upset about this. Why do LSU fans feel like they were wronged?

Yeah I'm sure no aTm fan, anywhere, is upset that the tradition of playing on Thanksgiving every year has been compromised to accommodate LSU's tradition of playing on Friday.

I'm so glad we have the voice of the entire Aggy nation here on this site.

Arkansas (funding, support, recruiting)

A&M is the richest school in the SEC
A&M sells out a bigger stadium
A&M has a hotbed for recruiting

Nice troll job

Aggy has always had the better upside. More money. Bigger state. Fan support. You name it.

Odd though...

Having all of the advantages, Aggy leads Arkansas in only one single men's sport historical record. Golf. Yep, one. Uno.

I'm sure after 140 years they've finally figured out how to compete with Lil' Arky...

We hadn't played on thanksgiving since 2011 until this year. And we didn't play Texas on Thanksgiving from like 94-07. Our fans don't really care that much about it, in fact some prefer to not play on Thanksgiving.

So, the AD decided to try and show that aTm has more pull than they actually do by demanding the game?

How aTm-esque of him. He and the fanbase are a match made in heaven.
