I just want to say I fricking love being in the SEC so that I can enjoy seeing my team play in SEC Country. That way I can enjoy the following;
Awesome towns
Awesome people
Awesome music
Awesome accents
Awesome tailgating
Awesome stadiums
Awesome athletes
The rest is just noise, but I appreciate the passion from some of these rantards

So you rather play Rice, Houston, and SMU than play Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Oklahoma State.
Ok

Sorry that you're intimidated by winners.

LSU really is pathetic. Louisiana. Please. New Orleans = A place everyone wants to go and no one wants to live. And most who go there don't want to go back. (There are exceptions. And there are those who move to Vegas, also). If LSU didn't have a good athletics program they'd have nothing at all. Seriously. Their admissions criteria would be worse than they are: not one would want to go there. They'd be a friggin' junior college. Who the hell would decide to go to Louisiana to college if they didn't have a decent sports history? No one. I wonder how many traveling Louisianans have lied when asked where they were from. Pitiful.
I'm really glad I live in Louisiana rather than the foreign country of Northern Mexico known as Texas. Don't get me wrong....I love Tacos! But I would rather speak English. Using my passport every time I enter Texas is annoying also.

As much shite as I give aggie I like having them around. They're good people. Living among both fan bases I can say that aggie may be weird and annoying at times but UT is just a bunch of stuck up assholes for the most part. I'll take weird and annoying over a-hole.

My dislike for that school in Austin is no big secret. I wouldn't give a wet fart up in exchange for Texas.
Besides, while the Aggies may be weird, they are weird in an SEC sort of way. State has cowbells, we call the hogs, Ole Miss eats cheap food under chandeliers, and USCe takes pride in making dick jokes. The Aggies fit in just fine.
Better them then Texas Tech and the dreaded Raider Rash.

Texas would be good for the SEC. The SEC needs an alpha school to take over and to put everyone in their place. Without Texas, who's gonna do it? You A&M? You Mizzou? Texas has a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You laugh at the aggie traditions and you curse the Longhorn Network. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know. That A&M's defense, while tragic, provides comic relief. And the existence of their violently homoerotic corps of cadets, provides comic relief. You don't want the truth, because deep down in places you don't talk about at tailgates, you want A&M focused on the Longhorns, you need A&M focused on the Longhorns. They use words like whoop, red arse and gig'em. They use these words as the backbone of a life raping sheep. The rest of the world uses them as a punchline. I have neither the time, nor the inclination, to explain A&M to fans who rise and sleep under the blanket of success that comes from playing against A&M's defense, and question the manner in which they illegally hire coaches. I would rather you just said thank you, and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you wear a white jumpsuit, and rape a goat. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to.

more bat poop = less mosquitoes
UT>A&M

Well technically, this is a trick question.
From the State of Texas perspective, A&M is still technically a branch of UT. They were never severed from the UT system, but were allowed to form their own board. And Ags, before you say its not true, go read your own years books which were conveniently called the "Longhorn" for many many years...
From a real world perspective, you take UT in a heartbeat just because of what it would do from both a political and academic standpoint for the SEC.
Don't let anyone try to fool you, UT and the grads from UT law run Texas. That is a major block of leverage that A&M will never be able to match.
