It is currently 53 degrees and raining.

We are expected to have one of the highest snow fall counts in the state. Snow doesnt start til 7am.

Thoughts?

If the snow is slated to start there just after you get in and it's going to be heavy like it is here once it starts, sounds like your school district is trying to not get your kids killed.

Which is right when people are getting the kids to school. Then you have the snow falling for the rest of the day and people will then need to get their kids home.

In other words, why the f would they not let the kids off tomorrow?

ETA: If it does nothing...oops, they'll have to make it up later. Let them go, ignoring weather reports, and something happens? lawsuits

Just because it's 50 today doesn't mean it won't be snowing and cold tomorrow. Before the last big blast of snow here just two days before it was mid 40s-50s.

And if it's a significant amount of snow the road may melt some but it's not going to melt that much.
