Zack Ledwik decided to call it a career. Left the team right before spring practice to focus on his degree.
Wish him the best of luck but.... big loss right now. After Mattews, we have to either play a true freshman in McCoy or train someone to do it. frick.

he was struggling snapping the ball and they were moving him away from center anyway. He just never took to it.

Matthews is out injured, so a lot of people had him pegged to take all the reps at it. Wonder who will slide into that role as the primary backup. Outside of left tackle, center is probably next in terms of importance.

They are using Stuckey. It's a decent role for him because he has like zero shot to start anywhere and we're going to need someone as an emergency C in the fall.

how do we recruit someone to be a center that has trouble snapping the ball?

He'd never played center before. He was a tackle in high school

They're also using Koda at C to snap the ball this spring.

Sumlin met with Ledwik yesterday and apparently talked him into giving it another go...
