They've tried to get me on like 5 times. I'll end up doing it sometime but I just don't have the will or want right now.

I was the one who suggested they pick you in replacement of me.

Ben is thinking of giving me and his twin a radio spot. I told him the only way that happens is if it's late night and we can call it Riding Coattails featuring Ben's brothers. I don't think he likes my idea

has he been on the RebelGrove cast? You should try and get on there with him.

So I finally got to watch some of the spring game. I don't feel like I need to lunge myself of a cliff as much.... They actually moved the football!

I've been listening to Neil and Chase about who they think the QB is going to be. Neil is convinced that its a battle between Ryan and Chad with Kelly ultimately winning out (arm strength being the deciding factor.)

Why has Kincade been pushed out by most of the media? Its not like they've seen more than us, practices are closed off to them too. I was impressed with what I saw Devante do especially on his 2nd drive. On his first drive their was a play where the announcer said he needed to look to his check down. I disagreed he had at least 30 yards open to his right and he didn't take off soon enough. He looked a little bit to much of a gun slingger when he threw the ball it was with power no matter what.

Is Chad Kelly as mobile as advertised? We couldn't see if Kelly could run the read option or even be elusive because of his green jersey. He does have a cannon but how accurate is it? I don't really care though if he throws a 50 yard pick as long as our WR has a shot at making the catch. Can the O line hold on long enough to do this?

Ryan looked really accurate from what I saw a little weaker of an arm but he is not elusive at all but can move well in the pocket and that to me is a problem. We really need a QB who can be a run threat.

I guess what my question is..... Why do they think Devante cant make it?

I think the consensus is DK doesn't have the playbook still. The guys at rivals and Hugh Kellenberger all believe he won't be here come fall camp. Neal said this goes back to last fall when he was hearing a lot about a transfer to tcu but waited to long.

If he cant learn our play book? Why would he want to start over again and try to learn another book????

Surprisingly, Kincaid was the only one w/out an int, but he would have thrown several if he had played the whole game. He made some really questionable throws (I think he breaks Bo's int record if he becomes our starter), looked hurried/anxious in the pocket every pass play, and overthrew some open receivers. He needs to calm down and go through his progressions, but you are right...they criticized him on doing that one time when he totally made the right call to run. He's a great runner but looks too inconsistent to be our regular starter at qb. Reminds me of a taller Michael Spurlock.

I think he needs to play allot more 7 on 7 and just not allow himself to run he has to throw the ball and read the field.

Kincade just looks like he is constantly trying to do too much.

When i watch kincade play it looks like what i would imagine i would look like if they threw me out there right now and told me im the starting Qb. Every play he looks like hes frantically looking around for an open receiver then he says frick it im running

If I see another person on scout/247/rivals talk about his damn elite 11 performance I'm gonna lose it.

Yeah dude. Devonte was a hoss at the Elite 11. Dilfer said he was the best QB he'd ever seen.

So SDS posted a pretty good read on our WR situation. And it got me thinking about Pack. Obviously there's problems with drops. But would he not kill it on some Jet Sweeps? Imagine Quon and Core blocking for him on the outside. And of course you can add some PA Jet Sweeps, Counter Jet Sweeps, and Fake Jet Sweep Screen to Quon. Dude...

Is he faster than Derrick Jones?

Idk who is faster. We hear a lot of praise on Packs athleticism so it only would make sense. But you raise a good point-sure, I guess there could be other candidates too.

Just offseason scheming xp
