Pending an implosion by basketball or an extremely underachieving campaign for baseball, it looks like we will be postseason bound in FB, MBB, WBB and baseball in the 14-15 year. I don't think we've done this since 10-11. I know Hyman is a popular target on here and football is the ultimate measuring stick but it's good to see us back to being well rounded as an AD

Not his hires though.

Many wanted Kennedy gone, including myself, and he stuck with him. The momentum of the program now is undeniable with the class we have coming in. We also stole an elite coordinator from an SECW foe in football

Yeah that Rick Stansbury hire was program-saving.

Honestly the biggest positive thing Hyman has done IMHO is not allow USC to steal Sumlin.

Yeah. I'm just not sold on Kennedy as an in-game coach. I feel like he has already proven that he isn't a great one. I won't be surprised if he underachieves next year when the pressure is on. It does help that he has a real SEC head coach sitting next to him on the bench though.

I won't call for his head, but I sure do hope he is forced to "retire" and Rick Stansbury is promoted within.

Meanwhile Turgeon is doing well at Maryland.

Turgeon would have been fired at Maryland by now by A&M fan standards.

Maryland was in a horrible spot when he was hired. He now has them in the Top 10. Meanwhile, Kennedy was in a much better spot, and we can't even make the tournament.

I disagree. Turgeon inherited a team from a revered, retiring coach, two seasons off of a 4 seed, which had a future lottery pick Center. Kennedy meanwhile was stepping into a bare cupboard and had to face an already hostile fanbase that Turge had driven away.

Wow. The only positive I can think of about Alex Lin.

Khris Middleton is a better NBA player. Just FYI. And he completely regressed while playing under Kennedy. I'm convinced you are related to Kennedy.

Didn't the Aggies just lose their Ace pitcher as well and are supposedly thin at that spot? Extremely unfortunate. It can certainly be overcome over the length of the season.

Doesn't impact mid-week games much, can still win a fair amount of SEC games. So the Aggies should make the post-season easily, but when post-season starts it can get rough in a hurry without pitching depth.

Maybe you can argue that now but it looks like we may be 6 deep at starting pitcher (4 deep now). Our pen has been killing it too.
