Possibly the biggest game in the history of Stegeman. UK getting Lyles back will be big for them, but we played them close up in Lexington without Marcus. We need at least one of our guys to step up big time and get hot. FTs will be huge as well. Gotta hit those against teams that are better than you. Hopefully we'll be able to put WCS and Towns in foul trouble, but there depth is so ridiculous it won't matter much.

I can't freaking wait for this game.

Anyone else gonna be there?

I'm going to the Hawks but will high tail it to Taco Mac (Phillips) as soon as that's over,

It's Herschel's birthday so to mojo is good

Gaines could not have played worse last time out and Maten's best game was at KY. Go dawgs.

Mann needs to be on early. When he struggles early it usually gets ugly. We also need to shoot above average from the field from start to finish. Basically we have 0 room for error if we want to keep it close/win.

I get off work at 10 so I may try to sneak my way in the door. Or I may just go home and watch there like a normal person.

We got down 11-1 last game against UK. That needs to not happen again because it would kill the energy of the crowd. Definitely need to avoid the early turnovers.

They are playing better at this point of the season, imo. Just dismantled #18

While I am hopefully optimistic about this game...We were down by nearly 20 in the first half and they kinda went ice cold and also took their foot off the gas a bit...

If I bet on the game, it will be heavy dots on UK.

They are going for #30 and its the last real chancce they have of losing the perfect season. I expect those 3 7-footers will be making hookshot/layups at will. I see us down by 25 and out of kindness, we lose by 15 (honest prediction)

However, the Bulldawg in me says we loes by 6 because of free throws and a stupid Gaines turnover.

We need Frazier to step up tonight as well. A double double, points and assists, would go a long way towards a competitive game for the dawgs. Maybe he can put up 37 again

Kentucky will press the shite out of him early and often. How well he handles that will tell us a lot about how well the team does tonight.

FIFY

He doesn't have to be on, he just needs to not be terrible and turn the ball over and act like LBJ every trip down the court

It was already announced that he will. Echols can play though, he's smart, can shoot, and plays within himself. He will do fine.

Mann is going to have to have his best game of the year for us to win.

JJ will have a hard time scoring because UK's guards are enormous

Considering we are playing the best team in America, you are probably right.

What is the biggest game in Stegeman's history? I have zero idea. I figured getting the chance to knock off an undefeated team 30 games into the season has to be up there.

Echols isn't some scrub like they put in against the end of the Missouri game. The kid can shoot a little bit and for us to have a chance in this game, we have got to hit some shots.

Would I prefer we start the 5 that give us the best chance to win? Yes. Does Echols make us THAT much worse? I don't think so.

I'm really excited to see how Kenny-Paul Geno plays tonight. I love the way he plays on defense.

Dawgs have to defend their arse off tonight. That's the most important thing to beat Kentucky imo. You're not going to score a bunch, so you have to defend them well enough to stay in contact and hopefully hit some shots at the end. See what happens after that.

The crowd needs to be a big factor. Playing defense 110% for 40 mins is really fricking hard, so any lift helps. When the shot clock hits 10 seconds on D, the crowd should be getting loud.
