Oh, I know that.

The responses will be absolutely predictable by a certain fanbase.

Corey Grant runs a 4.18 and a 4.28 on two scout watches on second 40-yard try

I had to fast-forward my TV when Chad Slade ran and it still took 4 seconds for him to finish.

Sammie Coates, Nick Marshall, Cameron Artis-Payne and Gabe Wright will not run 40-yard dash at Auburn Pro Day.

Interesting...

https://www.nfl.com/labs/rr/pathtothedraft/marshall

quote:

Marshall takes aim at Auburn's pro day

The former quarterback who is trying to convert to defensive back at the NFL level believes he can trim his time even more.

"I'm definitely going to run my 40 again because I know I can do better," Marshall said. "I'm not going to bench press again and I feel pretty good about my other (drill) times. But I plan to do position drills again, too."

I guess maybe he tweeked something? Or figured since his previous time was as fast as many of the top DB prospect times, he (or his agent) changed his mind?

Are there any "official" times from pro days or do they all count as unofficial?

These are all hand timed today......so I doubt any would be classified as "official".

It's painful to watch Whittaker do any of these drills.

The recruiting sites and our staff REALLY missed on him coming out of high school.

Not watching but are they ridiculously skinny? If so, that has always been the case. He is just awkward to look at with his hulking upper body and twig legs

I don't know how Corey Grant didn't get an invite when that 150LB UAB player did

Yeah. He's got nothing below the knees. He's real knock kneed too. They definitely commented on it and how it's not going to help him. I really hope he can at least make a practice squad. He's such a good guy. Dude came in sounded like a polished vet as an 18 year old.

The guy has next to no chance at any NFL career, even on the practice squad. Nice kid, but not a good football player. The NFL is the best of the best; a guy that made next to no impact in college isn't going to make it at that level.

NFL related, Andre Johnson is looking to move teams. Pipe dream but would love to see him with Cammy Cam so he has a solid target that doesn't drop things
