Nick Marshall is a Bill Belichek type of player...

He's more of a technician at center. He moves well at a lower weight and I think he will benefit more in an offense like a zone blocking scheme.

Yeah, stray away from the buzzwords. Dude needs to be over 300, plain and simple

I lost cable and internet 5 minutes into it. I missed the weigh ins and whatever else happened the first 25 minutes or so. I did see that the Grand Poobah is there.

Some say he's a real student of the game. A real lunch pail and hardhat type player. First one into the gym, and last one to leave.

Reese has a high motor, a true blue collar kind of general in the middle of the line.

Jeff Whitaker put up 41 reps on bench, more than anyone at the combine. Wish he would have played with that strength on the field.

quote:Not exactly. Let's look at the zone blocking scheme that was recently made famous in the NFL by Mike Shanahan and Gary Kubiak. Those players don't have to be over 300 pounds and it's actually better that they're below weight so they can get out and pull. They don't do much anchoring on the line.
Dude needs to be over 300, plain and simple
Chris Myers 6'4 286
Tom Nalen 6'3 286
Ben Hamilton 6'4 290
All centers in Mike Shanahan's offense which was also coached by Gary Kubiak (1998-2008).
It all depends on the offense, but he can play below 300 pounds.

Ladarius Owens pulled up on the 40. Looks like he may have hurt his hamstring. I hate to see that.

exceptions, not the rule, etc.
I realize he can play under 300. The simple truth is that he shouldn't. You can dress it up however you want and that won't remain any different

He most likely shouldn't if he's in another type of offense.
