I came to down vote the OP then realized this thread is gold.

"We have never won even one CWS because we have "weather in early spring" that prevents us from maturing. In other words, Arkansas baseball peaks ....in early August.

I guess they think baseball is like football, you can play in wet weather. MLB don't even play games in rain/sleet/ice/snow.
Also saves athletic departments money. What's the point of traveling, missing school when the game won't be played. Not like athletic departments are loaded with money to waste on free trips to chill in a hotel. Wish some people would think before they post.
