My plays arent incredibly significant in Alabama history, but...

The game winning sideways kick at the cotton bowl in 2005 is my favorite. It was the last sporting event I ever attended with my dad. My wife convinced him to fly out to Dallas as we drove up from San Antonio. He hated crowds but enjoyed watching Bama football with me. The whole thing was a surprise to me. I thought I was attending that game with my wife. I was really excited because I hadn't seen him in a while, being stationed in SA. It's hard to describe how much I value that day.

The next on would have to be the Arky game 3 years ago. 52-0 Part 1. Rammer Jammer in an empty stadium soaking wet because my son didn't want to leave. (It was his first Bama game)

The opening drive against Notre Dame in the BCSCG. 30 minutes before kickoff the ND fans were LOUD. Cheering, yelling, just bubbly optimistic. They were great fans. The very first play where the ND defense stoned Lacy for very little to no gain, the Irish fans around my buddy and me erupted.

Then Fluker, Warmack and the boys started just obliterating their front 7. By the time Lacy crossed the goal line on that drive, it was apparent to even the most ardent ND fan that the Alabama offense simply could not be stopped.

An utter deflation of hope and optimism.

Yeah I was at the game sitting with several friends who are Notre Dame fans. Couldn't help but feel sorry for them after awhile

Here's a great football one. Robin Cary's TD punt return to break a 21-21 4th quarter tie with Tennessee in 1973, followed by a long run by Wilbur Jackson.

My two favorite from basketball during my time in school: 1976 double overtime win over King and Grunfeld, and the 1978 pounding of Goose Givens and the undefeated and eventual national champion Kentucky Wildcats.

For football, I'd go with Rocky Block, the 05 Florida game, and the euphoria while celebrating in the Rose Bowl.

For basketball, definitely Pettway's layup to win the SEC. Also Jason Reese throwing down against Auburn in a blowout.
