Speaking of what you don't know/where you've never been. You're definitely an Aggy.

Can y'all agree that Chavis is going to improve that aTm defense?

Can y'all agree that with LSU's talent they will never field a horrible defense regardless of who they have coaching the D?

The real question is which team will field the better offense?

This about them healing, not agreeing

Lashing out in anger? Is that not a step in the grieving process?

Without him we don't get Mack. Period.

Mack said he really wanted to play for Chavis at LSU....but he's just a 5* defensive player, not significant

I dont think he's the strategist and game planner that Chief is.

He may not be the in-game coach that Chavis is, but with Orgeron and Raymond supporting him, I think we'll be alright.

He's a much better recruitor than Chavis, and I expect our LB play to improve.

It all depends. Chavis' D needs depth and above average CB play. What about A&M makes anyone think they will have either?

This seems to be very hard to understand for some here.

Statistically or one that wins games? A&M will put up a ton of yardage and points but their pace will have that D on the field a ton.

So you're saying you would have lost the #2 defensive player in the State to ANOTHER Big12 team had Chavis not been hired? Seems pretty indicative of your program and the reality of its shortcomings.

Mickey Johnson 2.0

ETA:

2014 LSU sack totals

2014 Texas A&M sack totals

Myles Garrett's talent will be wasted

It should improve.

But Chief doesn't work miracles. Which is what aggy needs to compete for the west.

So in a WRTS thread you go on and on about how the hashtag is ridiculous because we are at best fourth in the state after at least TCU and Baylor because of their performance last year.

Yet in this thread potentially losing Mack to the same TCU is "indicative of your program and the reality of its shortcomings."

Which is it? TCU is better than us and therefore should recruit better than us, or we are the better program and therefore we get to use WRTS with impunity?

Unless your Big 12 dig was referring to Texas, which is an even MORE ridiculous claim for you to make considering how your favorite talking point is how they were our daddy before LSU.

I don't mind playing Rant with you NFLSU, but it is no fun when you keep moving the goalposts. The only consistency in your narrative is your hatred of Aggie.

Without Chavis we don't get Mack, that is the truth. Spin the result however you want, or say it is a fluke, but for this recruiting cycle Chavis pulled his weight.

Considering the lack of talent on your D, you might want to rethink your position.

Meh. Our defensive line is more talented than LSU's. Linebackers and the secondary aren't, but when Chavis establishes himself after a couple seasons they most likely will be. A&M will have a far more talented defense than LSU in 2-3 years.

I'm just glad Chavis is gone. I hope for A&M's sake he improves their defense, but God Damn I was getting sick of our defense getting worse and worse every year and becoming very predictable. I don't know what Steele is going to bring, but right now I feel a lot better about starting the season with a fresh face at DC that looks to have a good bit of potential.

You know that's not true. We've been on the bubble of competing for the west with a HORRIBLE defense. We need an average to ok defense to contend.

Garrett is better than both DEs we will probably field but LSU's DTs are better.

Also,

Good

Riddance

Cardboard, when you only land 1 of the top 8 defensive players in the State while pumping out the SEC logo as much as you do..there's a problem with your program.
